Active Ingredients:
- Promethazine
Therapeutic actions: Pipolphen is a competitive blocker of histamine H1 receptors it does not interfere with the production and secretion of histamine. The belongs to a group of called phenothiazines. By passing through the blood-brain barrier it also acts as a sedative manifests anti-emetic and anti-cholinergic effect.
Indications: The is used in the following cases:
- rhinitis
- Skin allergy
- to blood products
- Anaphylaxis
- Common cold symptoms
- Sedation after surgery
- Prevention of nausea and vomiting after surgery
- Treatment of motion sickness
Contraindications and cautions: Before taking Pipolphen tell your doctor if the following apply to you:
