Active Ingredients:
- cuprum gluconate,
- ferrous gluconate,
- manganese gluconate
Therapeutic actions: Tot'hema is a drug which is used to fight anemia. The Iron is needed by our organism to synthesize the heme which is a part of hemoglobin, myoglobin and other metal-proteins in the organism. The drug participates in redox processes. Cuprum and manganese are an important part of enzyme systems which participate in the organisms main redox processes.
Indications: The drug is used in treatment of:
- Iron deficiency anemia
- Prophylaxis of iron deficient conditions in people with elevated risks:
- Pregnant women
- Children
- Adolescents
- Old people
Contraindications and cautions: The drug should not be used if you have any of these conditions:
- Anemia not caused by Iron deficiency
- Hemochromatosis
- Hemosiderosis
- Acute peptic and duodenal ulcer
- Lead poisoning
- Children younger the 3 years old
- Increased sensitivity to the components of the preparation
Should be used with caution:
- If you suffer from Diabetes due to 3 g of sucrose in the preparation
- If using other iron preparations
