Drug name: Lysobact
Therapeutic actions: Lysobact is a complex medication. It's action is based on the components, firstly Lysozyme - is an enzyme of protein nature which is used as an antiseptic( works against gram-positive, negative bacteria, viruses and fungi.) Pyridoxine on the other hand displays protective properties for the cheek mucous (antiaftosic effect) but it doesn't effect Lysozyme.
Indications: Angina, gingivitis, stomatitis, thrush, herpetic lesion of oral cavity.
Contraindications and cautions: Do not use Lysobact if you are hypersensitive to the components of the preparation. Lysobact can be used during pregnancy and lactation. If an allergic reaction occurs stop the use of Lysobact immediately.

Lysobact amplifies the effect of antibiotics including penicillin, chloramfenicol, nitrofurantoin.
Also amplifies the effect of diuretics. Lowers the activity of levodopa. Isoniazid, penicilamin, pirazinamid, immune suppressors, estrogen, oral contraceptives can increase the necessity of peredoxime.
