Bactox
Drug name: Bactox
Active Ingredients:
- Amoxicillin
Therapeutic actions: Bactox belongs to a group of called penicillins. It exerts bactericidal effect and has a broad spectrum of action. It interferes with peptidoglycane synthesis during the period of development and multiplication of bacterial cell, resulting in cell lysis. Strains that produce penicillinase are resistant to effect.
Indications: Bactox is used in treatment of different infections:
- Ear infections
- Urogenital infections
- Respiratory system infections
- and E.coli infestations.
The suspension is used in children for the same indications as adults. Consult your doctor for dosages and possible other conditions that may be treated by Bactox in children.
Contraindications and cautions: The should not be used in the following conditions:
- Hypersensitivity to any components of the preparation or to other penicillin or cephalosporins.
Be careful in suing Bactox if you have such conditions as:
- Bronchial asthma
- Liver impairment
- Kidney dysfunction
- Blood clotting disorders like hemophilia
- Mononucleosis
- Dysbacteriosis or a history of diarrhea of unknown origin.
