Active Ingredients:

  • Azithromycin

Therapeutic actions: The active ingredient of Hemomycin is Azithromycin that belongs to macrolide antibacterial drugs. Azithromycin works by binding to 50S subunits of the Palades' granules and inhibits peptidetranslocase resulting in suppression of the bacterial growth. As a result bacteria are not able to reproduce and then die. In high dosages Azithromycin exerts bactericidal action. Hemomycin is a broad spectrum antibiotic that is highly effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, anaerobic microorganisms, chlamydia, mycobacteria, ureaplasma, mucoplasms and spirochaetes.

Indications: Hemomycin is used to treat infections caused by susceptible to Azithromycin microorganisms.

  • Upper respiratory tract infections(pharyngitis and tonsillitis)
  • Lower respiratory tract infections(bacterial aggravation of the chronic obstructive pneumonia

interstitial and alveolar pneumonia, bacterial bronchitis)

  • ENT infections disease(laryngitis, otitis media, sinusitis)
  • Urinary tract infections(Urethritis, cervicitis)
  • Skin and soft tissue infections(impetigo, erysipelas)
  • Lyme disease

Contraindications and cautions: Azithromycin is contradicted in the following conditions:

  • Severe kidney dysfunction
  • In severe

Use Azithromycin with caution in pregnancy ,in children and in abnormal heart rhythm(prolonged QT interval)

Warning!Hemomycin capsules should be taken at least one hour before or two hours after food. Hemomycin suspension can be taken with food.

Azithromycin can cause acute colitis. Stop taking Azithromycin if you noticed the signs associated with colitis: diarrhea and abdominal pain.

  • The effect of anticoagulants may be enhanced while taking Azithromycin. This can lead to severe bleedings.
  • Hemonycin can make birth control pills and patches less effective.
