Drug name: Trachisan
Active Ingredients:

- Tyrothricin
Therapeutic actions: Trachisan is a combined synthetic preparation, which includes a topical antibiotic called Tyrothrycin, and antiseptic chlorhexidine and anesthetic lidocaine. This combination of components exerts anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and pain relieving action. The preparation is effective against a wide variety of bacterial strains, fungi (Candida albicans) and viruses. The is used for local treatment only.
Indications: Trachisan is indicated in treatment of the following conditions:
- Infectious disease of the oral cavity and throat
- Stomatitis
- Ghingivitis
- Paradontitis
- Glossitis
- Tonsilitis
- Pharingitis
- Prophylaxis before oral surgery
Sometimes the is also prescribed as additional therapy with systemic and etc.
Contraindications and cautions: The drug should not be used in the following conditions:
- Hypersensitivity to any components of the preparation
Due to local use Trachisan has no effect on pregnancy but tell your doctor if you want to get pregnant are pregnant or are breastfeeding before using Trachisan.
The drug does not contain sugar thus does not promote caries and can be used by patients with diabetes.
