Nitrofungin
Drug name: Nitrofungin
Active Ingredients:
- Chlor-nitrophenol,
- Ethanol,
- Triglycol
Indications: The drug is indicated in treatment of susceptible bacteria and skin fungal infections: rubromycosis, epidermophytosis inguinalis, External mycosis of the auditive duct.
Contraindications and cautions: The drug is contraindicated in the following cases:
- Hypersensitivity to any components of the preparation
- Pregnancy
- Lactation period
If skin irritation on the area of application occurs the solution can be diluted 1:1 with water. The areas of nitrofungin application should be kept away from direct sunlight for the whole period of treatment.
Adverse effects: There are possible side-effects associated with this medicine that can affect individuals in different ways. If a side effect is stated here, that does not necessarily mean the fact that all people using Nitrofungin will experience it or any other. The side-effects include:
- Local irritation
- Photo sensibilisation
- Allergic reactions of different genesis
