Arpetol is an inhibitor of A and B flu viruses. It exerts interferon-correcting and immunomodulatory activity, stimulates humoral and immunity cell-mediated response, macrophage phagocytic function, increases the resistance of the organism to the viral infections. Therapeutic effectiveness in flu is manifested in decrease in intoxication symptoms. Arbidol is quickly absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract and is distributed in organs and tissues.Indications: Arpetol is used in the following conditions:
Flu treatment and prophylaxis, acute respiratory infection, chronic bronchitis, pneumonia, recurrent herpetic infection. Arbidol is indicated for the prophylaxis of infectious complications and normalization of the immune status in post-surgery period.Contraindications and cautions:
The drugs should not be used in the following conditions:- Hypersensitivity to any components of the preparations.
- The drug should not be prescribed in subsidiary cardiovascular system, liver and kidney diseases.
