Active Ingredients:

  • Acetylcysteine

Therapeutic actions: The drug Asist includes the active ingredient Acetylcysteine which exerts the following effects: mucolytic, expectorant, hepatopr and detoxicating. The drug atenuates expectoration and increases its volume. Exerts a stimulating effect on the mucous cells, the discharge of which lysis fibrin. Improves the processes of detoxification. The drug also exerts anti-inflammatory effects which is caused by suppression of produced free radicals and reactive oxygen metabolites, that are the cause of acute and chronic inflammation of the lung and airway tissue.

Indications: Asist is indicated in the case of:

  • Obstruct phlegm removal
  • Bronchial asthma
  • Mucoviscidosis
  • Otitis
  • Thinitis
  • Sinusitis
  • Implications in surgery of the respiratory organs
  • In Acetaminophen overdose

Contraindications and cautions: The drug should not be used in the following conditions:

  • Hypersensitivity to any components of the preparation
  • Stomach and duodenal ulcer in the acute phase
  • Predisposition to lung bleeding
