Active Ingredients:
Contains A preparation containing a blend of polysaccharides (dry blend) from the marshmallow-herb (Althaea officinalis L Sodium bicarbonate.
Therapeutic actions: As a mixture of polysaccharides from the grass of althea officinalis Mucaltin possesses expectorant properties - due to bronchiole stimulation it increases activity of blinking epithelium in combination with high bronchial gland secretion and respiratory peristalsis. Sodium bicarbonate also dilutes phlegm and s increases bronchial secretion.
Indications: Mucaltin is used as an expectorant in the treatment of acute and chronic diseases of the respiratory tracts and lungs (bronchites, tracheites, pneumonia, etc.).
Contraindications and cautions: allergy to Althaea Officinalis
Adverse effects: There are no observable side effects.
