Drug name: Nasivin
Active Ingredients:
- Oxymethazoline
Therapeutic actions: Nasivin is a vasoconstrictive preparation intended for local use. Oxymethazoline the active ingredient is a derivative of imidazoline. The drug causes constriction of vessels in the place of application, decreases the swelling of nasal mucous membrane and the upper part of the respiratory system. Does not irritate the mucous membrane.
Indications: The drug is intended for use in the following conditions:
- Acute rhinitis
- Vasomotoric rhinitis
- Paranasal sinusitis
- Eustahiit
- Middle otitis
- Diagnostica vasoconstriction
Contraindications and cautions: The drug should not be used in the following conditions:
- Atrophic rhinitis
- Angle-closure glaucoma
- Hypersensitivity to any components of the preparation
- In children younger then 6 years old.
Nasivin should be used with caution if:
- You have hypertension
- Aterosclerosis
- Tachicardia
- Increased intra eye pressure
- Diabetes
- After using MAO inhibitors

Systemic symptoms appear rarely:
