Stopangin
Drug name: Stopangin
Therapeutic actions: Stopangin is an antiseptic preparation which is used locally. The drug exerts anti-fungal and analgesic effect when applied to the mucous membranes. Stopangin also possesses enveloping effect.
Indications: The drug is indicated in the following conditions:
- Inflammatory disease of the oral cavity and throat.
- Fungal disease of the oral cavity and throat.
- As additional treatment before and after oral or throat surgery
- Additional treatment of tonsillitis
Contraindications and cautions: The drug should not be used in the following conditions:
- Hypersensitivity to any components of the preparation
- Atrophic pharyngitis
- Children younger then 8 years old
- Pregnancy I trimester
The preparation should not be applied to your eyes. If after 3 days the symptoms of the illness do not lessen or become worse consult your doctor on other treatment.
Adverse effects: There are possible side-effects associated with this medicine that can affect individuals in different ways. If a side effect is stated here, that does not necessarily mean the fact that all people using Stopangin will experience it or any other. The side-effects are:
- Irritation and burning of the place to which the preparation is applied.
