Thera Flu
Drug name: TheraFlu
Active Ingredients:
- acid ascorbic,
- paracetamol(acetominophen),
- pheniramine,
- phenylephrine
Therapeutic actions: TheraFlu is a combine medication that possesses antipyretic, analgesic, antihistaminic, vasoconstrictor and alpha- adrenomimetic action. TheraFlu eliminates the symptoms of cold and flu.
Paracetamol(acetominophen) exerts antipyretic, analgesic and moderate anti inflammatory action.
Pheniramine works by blocking H1-histamine receptors. It possesses anti allergic properties and decrease the effects of exudation.
Phenylephrine is alpha-adrenomimetic drug. It exerts vasoconstrictive action to peripheral vessels.
Acid ascorbic increases the resistance to unfavorable factors of medium.
Indications: TheraFlu is used to treat cold-related diseases manifested with fever, headache, acute rhinitis, nasal congestion, sneezing and muscle pain.
Contraindications and cautions: You should not take TheraFlu in the following conditions:
- Hypertension
- Diabetes
- Closed-angle glaucoma
- Severe liver diseases
- Severe kidney diseases
- Severe heart diseases
- Severe thyroid gland diseases
- Severe lungs diseases
- Gastric ulcer
- Intestinal ulcer
- Pancreas disorders
- Severe bladder diseases
- Urination difficulties
- Blood diseases
- Insufficiency of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase
- Hypersensitivity to any ingredients of the preparation
- Children under 15 years old
- Pregnancy
- Breastfeeding
Warning! Avoid prolonged use of this medication
Do not take Theraflu together with alcohol.
