Active Ingredients:
- cyproterone, ethinyl estradiol.
Therapeutic actions: Diane-35 is a low-dosed monophasic oral contraceptive with anti-androgen effects. Contraceptive effect of Diane 35 is based on ovulation suppression(the release of egg cell from the ovary) and changes in viscosity of cervical mucus. Endomethrium becomes unable to implant egg cell. In appropriate use of Diane 35 contraceptive effect is very high.
Cyproterone acetate works by inhibiting the effects of androgens(male sex hormones) and ,thus, can be useful in the treatment of androgen-dependent diseases. Diane 35 lower the increased activity of oil glands that is associated with the main cause of acne and seborrhea. Hair loss and and increased hair greasiness is lowered as well. Therapy with Diane-35 is effective in the treatment of hirsutism.
The medication also relives painful syndrome associated with menstruation, lower the risk of anemia, improves psycho-emotional help.
Indications: Diane-35 is indicated as hormonal birth control pills used to prevent unwanted pregnancy; is used to relieve the symptoms of androgen-dependent diseases such as acne, alopecia, hirsutism.
Contraindications and cautions: You should not use Diane 35 if you experience any of these conditions:
- Diseases associated with thrombosis
- Severe cardiovascular diseases including heart attacks, strokes
- Diabetes with vascular complications
- Jaundice and severe liver diseases
- Cancer of the mammary gland and genitals
- Liver tumors
- Vaginal bleedings
- Pregnancy
- Breastfeeding
- Individual intolerance
Necessarily let your health care provider know if :You smoke, obese, have cardiovascular diseases, veins inflammation, disorders of the brain circulation, migraines, epilepsy, liver and kidney disease, congestion of the bile passages, gastrointestinal diseases, systemic lupus erythematosus, hemolytic uremic syndrome(kidney failure), anemia, chloasma.
