Active Ingredients:
- Fish oil with sea-buckthorn oil
Therapeutic actions: Fish oil is an animal drug. Therapeutic effect of fish oil is determined by its fat-soluble vitamins(A, D, E, K) and unsaturated fatty acids. Fish oil exerts A and D vitamin, lipid-lowering and indirect vasodilating action. Fish oil also retards platelets aggregation, improves the realogical blood characteristics. Unsaturated fatty acids lower cholesterol blood levels and stimulate the production of arachidonic acid. Retinol(vitamin A) improves vision and metabolic processes in the skin mucous lining. Vitamin D regulates the growth of the bone tissue and is responsible for Ca2+ and phosphates metabolism.
Sea-buckthorn oil stimulates restorative processes in skin and mucous lining, accelerates healing of damaged tissues. Moreover, Sea-buckthorn oil exerts bracing action, possesses anti oxidative and cytoprotective properties. Lowering the amount of free radicals protection of cells and subcellular membranes is observed as well.
Indications: Fish oil with sea-buckthorn oil is used for prophylaxis of atherosclerosis, hypertension, diabetes, vision disorders, stomach ulcer and other diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, dermatitis, allergic illnesses, rickets. Fish oil is recommended in hypo- and avitaminosis A and D(respiratory disease, period of recovery, bone growth disorders, decreased vision, structure disorders of the skin, hair, nails, teeth, bones), osteopathy of a different aetiology, osteomalatia and osteoporosis.
Mode of administration: Children from 2 till 7 years should take 2-3 capsules 3 times per day
Adults should take 5 capsules 3-4 times per day
Contraindications and cautions: Fish oil with sea-buckthorn oil should not be used in the following conditions:
- Individual intolerance to fish oil or sea-buckthorn oil
- Idiopathic hypercalcemia
- Nephrourolitiasis
- Hypercalcuria
- Thyrotoxicosis
- Lung tuberculosis
- Chronic liver failure
