Active Ingredients:
- Betahistine hydrochloride
Therapeutic actions: Betahistine is a histamin-like substances that works by improving microcirculation. They block the degradation of endogenous histamine and normalize the neuron transmission in the stem body of the cerebrum, inhibits diaminoxidase, affects pre-capillary sphincters and increases pre-capillary blood-flow. The drug is exerted 100% with urine in a period of 24 hours.
Indications: The drug is indicated for the following diseases:
- Meniere's syndrome
- Vestibular vertigo of different genesis
Contraindications and cautions: The drug should be avoided in the following conditions:
- Increased sensitivity to the components of the preparation
- Peptic ulcer in acute phase
- Bronchial asthma
- Pheochromocytoma
- Pregnancy
- Young age
