Drug name: Proactiv
Active Ingredients:
- Acid Ascorbic and Rutin
Indications: Proactiv is used in the following conditiones:
- Treatment and prophylaxis of hypo and avitaminosis P and C
- Damage of capillaries caused by anticoagulants and salicylates use
- Complex therapy of the following diseases: Hemorrhagic diathesis, retinal haemorrhage, radiation sickness, bacterial endocarditis, rheumatism, glomerulonephritis, arachnoiditis, allergic diseases, epidemic roseola, camp fever, thrombocytopenic purpura.
Contraindications and cautions:
You should not take Proactiv if you experience the following conditions:
- Allergy or hypersensitivity to vitamins C and P
You should use this medication with caution in pregnancy, breastfeeding and in children.
Adverse effects: There are possible side-effects associated with this medicine that can affect individuals in different ways. If a side effect is stated here, that does not necessarily mean the fact that all people using Proactiv will experience it or any other.
- Allergic reactions: skin rash
- Headache
- Indigestion

Ascorbic acid increase the absorption of penicillin, ferrum. It also decreases therapeutic effect of heparin and indirect anticoagulants.
