Drug name: Aesculus compositum
Therapeutic actions: The drug includes the following components:Aesculus, Secale cornutum, Viscum album, Tabacum, Solanum nigrum, Arnica, Echinacea angustifolia, Baptisia, Rhus toxicodendron, Cuprum, Ruta, Dulcamara, Colchicum, Barium jodatum, Hamamelis, Apis mellifica, Acidum benzoicume resina, Eupatorium cannabinum, Arteria suis, Natriumpyruvat. The mixture provides spasmolitic effect, improves the structure and strengthens veins, and causes relief to mild pain.
Indications: Aesculus compositum is used to treat disorders related to peripheral blood circulation like:
- Post-insult and post-infarct conditions.
- Atherosclerosis
- Chronic vein insufficiency
- Vein varicoses
- Hemorrhoids
- Bed sores
- Postembolic dysfunctions of blood flow.
Contraindications and cautions: The drug should not be used in the following conditions:
- Hypersensitivity to any components of the preparation
- Tuberculosis
- Leukosis
- Collagenosis
- Multiple sclerosis
- HIV
