Drug name: Flamin
Active Ingredients:
- Helichrysi arenarii flores
Therapeutic actions: Flamin is a medication of a plant origin that exerts bile-expelling, choleretic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, spasmolytic and wound-healing action. Flamin enhances the secretion of bile and increase the amount of bilirubin in it. Flamin increases the tonicity of gall-bladder and contributes to bile outflow. Due to stimulating the release of stomach acid and slowing down the motor-evacuation stomach and bowel function, Flamin contribute to more efficient digestion. Flamin activates the exocrinous activity of the pancreatic gland, relaxes bowel blood vessels, contributes to the elimination of cholesterol with bile, possessing cholesterol reducing effects. Flamin also exerts antibacterial action, acting on gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, stimulates regeneration processes in eye tissue.
Indications:Flamin is indicated in the following conditions:
- Hepatitis
- Cholecystitis
- Hepatocholecystitis
- Dyskinesia of the bile passages
- Cholangitis
- Postcholecystectomy syndrome
- Complex therapy of obesity, diabetes, lambliosis
Contraindications and cautions:
- Flamin should not be used in known hypersensitivity to any of the medication active ingredients
- Do not use the medication in cholelithiasis and high blood pressure(hypertension)
- Talk with your health care provider if you are pregnant or breastfeeding prior to taking Flamin
