Active Ingredients:
- brain hydrolysate of the cattle
Therapeutic actions: Cerebrolysat enhances the synthesis of proteins in the nerve cells, increases the resistance of the brain tissue to the intoxications, hypoxia, low glucose blood levels, brain injury. Cerebrolysat also activates the integrative processes in the central nervous tissue. Cerebrolysin is an analogue of Cerebrolysin and is similar to its biological action.
Indications: Cerebrolysat is indicated in the following conditions:
- Craniocerebral trauma
- Post operative trauma
- Disorders of the blood circulation
- Organic, metabolic and neurodegenerative disorders of the brain, especially senile dementia
- Post-apoplectic complications
- Disorders associated with attention deficiency in children
- Cerebral contusion
- Concussion
- Ischemic stroke
- Chromic cerebrovascular pathology
- Mental retardation
- Alzheimer's disease
- Endogenous depression
Contraindications and cautions: Cerebrolysat should not be indicated in the following conditions:
- Known hypersensitivity or allergy to any of the medications active ingredients
- Allergic diathesis
- Epilepsy
- Severe kidney disease

Cerebrolysat is usually well tolerated. In rare cases skin allergic reactions are possible.
If Cerebrolysat is injected too quickly it may cause a moderate heat sensation. In extremely rare cases may cause headache, fever, increases in body's temperature.
