Therapeutic actions:
Extract from the Ginkgo biloba leafs normalizes metabolism in the cells, reological blood properties, microcirculation and vasomotor reactions of the blood vessels. Memorivit improves blood circulation and supply the brain with oxygen and glucose. Ginkgo biloba also exerts vasoregulating action, widens small arteries, increases the tonicity of the veins, regulating blood filling of the vessels. Memorivit also retards platelets aggregation and prevents clots formation, decreases the permeability of the blood walls, exerts anti-exudative action, possesses anti-hypoxic, anti-oxidant properties. Ginkgo biloba prevents also the production of free radicals and lipid peroxidation of the cells membranes.Indications: Memorivit is approved for the treatment of the following conditions:
- DEP - dyscirculatory encephalopathy that is manifested in memory problems, decrease in intellectual ability, anxiety, fear, agitation
- Sensorineural disorders
- Degeneration of the yellow spot
- Diabetic retinopathy
- Asthenic, psihigenic, neurotic conditions caused by traumatic damage of the brain
- Disorders of peripheral blood circulation including Raynaud's syndrome
Contraindications and cautions:
- Memorivit should not be taken in the following conditions:
- Thyrotoxicosis
- Acute form of the cerebrovascular disorders
- Heart attacks
- Extremely low blood pressure
- Decreased blood coagulation
- Erosive gastritis
- Ulcerous disease of the stomach and intestine in aggravation phase
- Pregnancy
- Breastfeeding
- Children under 12 years of age
Adverse effects: There are possible side-effects associated with this medicine that can affect individuals in different ways. If a side effect is stated here, that does not necessarily mean the fact that all people using Memorivit will experience it or any other. Memorivit may cause:
- Dermatological reactions (redness, edema and itching), headache, decreased blood coagulation, dizziness, digestive system disorders.
