Active Ingredients:
Dexketoprofen
Indications: symptomatic treatment of minor and medium pains, such as those in the regions of the locomotor system, painful menstruation, toothache.
Contraindications:
- Hyper sensibility to Dexetoprofen or to other nonsteroidal analgesics and anti-inflammatory resources;
- Ulcers, inflammations or chronic illnesses of the gastrointestinal tract, including suspicion having such disturbances or their presence in the past;
- Gastrointestinal hemorrhages or other active hemorrhages, susceptibility to hemorrhages or other disturbances provoking them, treatment with medications, decreasing blood coagulability;
- Specific gastrointestinal disturbances (Crone’s disease, nonspecific ulcerative colitis);
- Bronchial asthma (also in the past);
- Severe cardiac insufficiency;
- Medium and severe kidney function disturbance;
- Severe disturbance of liver function;
- Pregnancy and breast-feeding.
Adverse effects: If used correctly, Dexalgin provokes no side effects. Anyway there can appear the following side effects:
- digestion disorder;
- heartburn;
- pain in the stomach;
- headaches and dizziness.
Sometimes, there can appear: some disturbances of the gastrointestinal tract, unpleasant sensations, such as the sensation of fornication crawl or numbness in the hands or legs, nervousness, palpitation, sleep disturbance, shivering, edemas, high blood pressure, skin eruptions.
Rarely there may appear such severe side effects as stomach ulcers.
Extremely rare are such side effects as: blood picture disturbance, liver or kidney affections, skin reactions and hyper photosensitivity.
Interactions:
Special caution should be taken while taking:
- other analgesics and anti-inflammatory resources;
- medications that decrease blood coagulability;
- medications based on lithium, methotrexate, hydantoin and sulfonamides.
