Active Ingredients:

Triamcinolone

Therapeutic actions: Ftorocort contains the active ingredient triamcinolone that belongs to a group of medicinations called corticosteroids. Due to blocking the release of certain chemicals(prostaglandins, IL-1, IL-2, gamma-interferone) Ftorocort possesses anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic and anti-exudative properties.

Indications: Ftorocort is indicated to treat the following diseases:

Dermatitis
Eczema
Atopic dermatitis
Neurodermatitis
Psoriasis
Granuloma annulare
Lichen ruber planus
Impetigo
Toxicodermia
Cheloid scars
Alopecia circumascripta
Insect bites

Contraindications and cautions: Ftorocort ointment should not be applied in the following conditions:

Hypersensitivity or allergy to triamcinolone or other corticosteroids
Inflammation of the skin caused by bacteria, viruses or fungi
Pregnancy
Breastfeeding

The most common side effects are: itching, eczema, steroidal acne, purpura
In prolonged use: atrophic skin disorders
