• Acitretin

Therapeutic actions:  Neotigason is a dermatoprotective drug – synthetic analogue of retinoic acid. Regulates the process of regeneration, differentiation and keratinization of skin cells, exerts keratolytic effect.

• Psoriasis
• Ichthyosis
• Lichen acuminatus
• Darier's disease

Contraindications and cautions: The drug must not be used in cases of:

• Hyperlipidemia
• Pancreatitis
• Hypervitaminosis A
• Liver and renal failure
• Pregnancy
• Breastfeeding

The preparation should be used with caution in:

• Diabetes treatment
• Pancreatitis

Adverse effects: There are possible side-effects associated with this medicine that can affect individuals in different ways. If a side effect is stated here, that does not necessarily mean the fact that all people using Neotigason will experience it or any other. The side-effects include:

• Dryness of the mucous membranes
• Cheilitis
