Active Ingredients:
Free proteine extract of calf blood
Therapeutic actions:
Solcoseryl is a tissue metabolism activator, chemically and biologically standardized - deproteinised, non antigenic and apyrogenic hemodialized extract form the blood of healthy young calf. It contains large amounts of natural lowmolecular weight substances - glycolipides, nucleosides, nucleotides, amino acids, oligopeptides, irreplaceable microelements, electrolytes, intervening products of carbohydrate and fat metabolism. It stimulates cellular oxygen consumption, especially in cases of hypoxia, normalizes metabolism, glucose transport, stimulates ATP synthesis, accelerates regeneration in reversible cell and tissue damage. Stimulates angiogenesis, promotes revascularization of ischemic tissue, creation of conditions for collagen synthesis and growth of new granulation tissue, accelerates revitalization and wound coverage. Possesses membrane-stabilizing and cell-protecting properties.
Indications: Solcoseryl is used to treat trophical disorders(trophic ulcers, pregangrene) related to disease of the peripheral vessels(obliterating endarteritis, diabetic angiopathy, varix dilatation);

- badly healing wounds,
- bed sores,
- chemical and thermic burns
- Freezings
- Trauma(wounds)
- Rariation dermatitis
- Psorelcosis
Contraindications and cautions:
Solcoseryl gel and ointment should not be used in known hypersensitivity or allergy to free protein extract of calf blood
Solcoseryl should be used with caution during pregnancy.
You must apply Solcoseryl only after the wound is cleaned with antiseptics. In treatment of contaminated wounds you must use antibiotics and antiseptics on the wound prior applying Solcoseryl (for 2-3 days).
Adverse effects: There are possible side-effects associated with this medicine that can affect individuals in different ways. If a side effect is stated here, that does not necessarily mean the fact that all people using Solcoseryl will experience it or any other.
The most common side effects include: burning, local edema, change in taste and teeth color, allergic reactions
