Active Ingredients:
- Erythromycin and zinc acetate
Therapeutic actions: Zineryt is a combined preparation which exerts bacteriostatic and sebum changing effect resulting in reduced inflammation. The ingridient of Zineryt are:
Erythromycin - a macrolide antibiotics which works by interfering with the bacterial protein synthesis thus reducing the ability of a bacterial cell to multiply and regenerate. Thus exerting bacteriostatic effect. Through control over bacterial numbers the inflammation can be decreased and the sebums composition changed.
Zinc that is additionally in the preparation exerts skin restoring effect and in combination with erythromycin forms a complex that easily penetrates the skin surface and allows for the deeper layers of the skin to be affected.
Indications: Acne
Contraindications and cautions: Zineryt lotion should not be used in the following conditions:
- Hypersensitivity to any components of the preparations
- Severe skin irritation without consulting your doctor
- Allergy prior to use of Zineryt
