Drug name: Salofalk
Therapeutic actions: Mesalazine belongs to a group of drugs called aminosalicylates. The drug works by stopping the inflammatory process thus reducing the symptoms of the ulcerative collitis.

Indications: The drug is indicated in treatment of Ulcerative colitis

Contraindications and cautions: The drug should be used with caution in:

  • Kidney or liver impairment
  • Asthma
  • Phenylketonuria

The drug are forbidden to use in the following conditions:

  • Known allergic reaction to salicylates
  • Peptic Ulcer
