Active Ingredients:

  • Metamizole sodium
  • Pitofenone and Fenpiverinium bromide

Therapeutic actions: Spazgan is a combine preparation that belongs to a group of analgesic and spasmolytic medicines. Metamizole sodium exert analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory action. Pitofenone exerts direct myotropic action on the smooth muscles of the internals. Due to its anticholinergic activity Fenpiverinium bromide exerts additional relaxing action on the smooth muscles. Combination of these three active ingredient leads to synergism in pharmaceutical effect manifested in pain relief, relaxing of the smooth muscles, fever decrease.

  • Spasms of the internals
  • Migraine
  • Spasms of the blood vessels
  • Post surgical pains

Contraindications and cautions: You should not use Spazgan if any of the following conditions apply to you:

  • Hypersensitivity to any of the medication active ingredient
  • Liver and kidney diseases
  • Gastrointestinal obstruction
  • Close-angle glaucoma
  • Agranulemia
  • Coronary heart disease
  • Breastfeeding
  • In children under 12 years old
  • Hypertrophy of the prostate gland
  • Insufficiency of the G6PD
  • Pregnancy

Barbiturates, phenylbutazone and other inductors of the microsomal liver enzymes mince impair the action of metamizole. Sedative and antipsychotic may enhance analgesic effect of Spazgan. Spazgan may increase cyclosporine blood levels.
