Drug name: Halolaj(fish oil)

Active Ingredients:

• Fish oil

Therapeutic actions: Fish oil in capsules is an animal drug. Therapeutic effects of fish oil is determined by its vitamins(A, D, E, K) and unsaturated fatty acids. Fish oil exerts A and D vitamine, lipid-lowering and indirect vasodilating action. Fish oil also retards the thrombocyte aggregation, improves the realogical blood characteristics. Unsaturated fatty acids reduce the cholesterol blood levels and stimulate the production of arachidonic acid. Retinol(vitamin A) improves the vision and and metabolic precesses in the skin mucous lining. Vitamins also regulates the growth of bone tissue.
Vitamin D is responsible for Ca2+ and phosphates metabolism.

Indications: Fish oil in capsules is used to treat the following conditions:

• Hypo and avitaminosis A and D(respiratory disease, period of recovery, bone growth disorders, decreased vision, structure disorders of the skin, hair, nails, teeth, bones)
• Osteopathy of a different aetiology
• Osteomalatia and osteoporosis
• Prophylaxis of Atherosclerosis and Hyperlipidemia
• Complex treatment of vision disorders

Contraindications and cautions:
You should not take fish oil if you experience the following conditions:

• Hypersensitivity or allergy to fish oil
• Idiopathic hypercalcemia
• Nephrourolitiasis
• Hypercalcuria
• Thyrotoxicosis
• Lung tuberculosis
• Chronic liver failure

• Acute and chronic liver and kidney diseases
• Digestive system disorders
• Stomach and intestinal ulcer
