Vitamin name: Pikovit.
Active Ingredients: Retinol 600 U, Cholecalciferol 80 U, Ascorbic acid10 mg, Nicotinamide 3 mg, Calcium Pantothenate 1,2 mg, Riboflavin 0,3 mg, Mononitrate Thiamine 0,25 mg, Pyridoxine hydrochlorate 0,3 mg, Cyanocobalamin 0,0002 mg, Folic acid 0,04 mg, Calcium 12,5 mg, Phosphor 10 mg.
Type: combination of vitamins.
Therapeutic actions: Multivitamins (10 vitamins) with calcium and phosphor. Group B vitamins participate, as coenzymes, to the SNC metabolism and conditions its good functioning. vitamin A stimulates epithelium repairing and regenerative processes, participates to the synthesis of rhodospin retinian sticks. Vitamin D3 assures calcium and phosphor absorbtion and bones and teeth minaralization. Vitamin C facilitates iron absorbtion in the digestive tube and participates to the oxydo-reduction processes. Calcium and phosphor are the teeth and bones fundamental mineral substances.
Indications: Polihypovitaminosis; vitamin increased necessity in anorexia, malnutrition, intense physical and intellectual student tasks, development retardatory effect; vitamin insufficiency caused by antibiotherapy; nutritiv dietetic supplement.
Contraindications and cautions: Hyper sensibility to one of the drug’s components. the lozenges are not recommended for children less than 2 years. Pregnancy and lactation. Do not exceed the recommended doses.
Overdose: In long-term treatment or large doses treatment A and D hypervitaminosis symptoms may appear. Overdosage probability is minimal. The treatment can be supportive.
Side effects: allergic reaction is possible.
