Active Ingredients:
- Ethinylestradiol
Therapeutic actions: Lindynette belongs to birth control medicines. Contraceptive effect is associated with the inhibiting the secretion of gonadotropins. Lyndinette contributes to the modification of cervical secret properties., making the movement of the sperm cells nearly impossible. Contraceptive action is also caused by changes in endometrium, making implantation of a fertilized ovule very difficult.
Indications: Lindynette is indicated in prevention of undesirable pregnancy.
Contraindications and cautions: Do not take Lyndinette if any of the following health conditions apply to you:
- State antecedent to thrombosis
- Migraine
- Pancreatitis
- Renal dysfunction and acute liver disease.
- Liver tumors (benign or malignant)
- Thrombosis(venous or arterial) or thrombembolia(at the present time or in anamnesis)
- Insular diabetes with vascular complications
- Multiple risk factors of venous or arterial thrombosis including affection of mitral valve, arrhythmia, diseases of brain vessels and coronary arteries of the heart, uncontrolled arterial hypertension.
- Revealed hormone-dependent tumors
- Vaginal bleedings
- Pregnancy
- Inflammation of the genitals
- Signs of liver damage
- Cardiovascular diseases
- Diabetes
- Diseases of the cerebral circulation
- Tendency to uterine bleedings
- Breastfeeding
- Hypersensitivity to the components of preparation
Let your doctor know if you recently had or are going to have any surgical interventions
Lyndinette also should be used with caution in:
- Obesity or hyperlipidemia
- Otosclerosis with hearing impair, idiopathic jaundice, itching during previous pregnancy
- Migraine
- Thrombophlebitis of superficial veins
- Constitutional hyperbilirubinemia(Gilbert's disease)
- Systemic lupus erythematosus
- Hemolytic uremic syndrome
- Grohn's disease
- Sickle cell anemia
- Hypertension
Lyndinette side effects: There are possible side effects associated with this medicine that can affect individuals in different ways. If a side effect is stated here, that does not necessarily mean the fact that all people using Lyndinette will experience it or any other.
- Lyndinette side effects may include:
- Digestive system: stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, jaundice
- Endocrine system: pain in the mammary gland, increased body weight, libido changes, metrorrhagia;
- CNS:headache and mood changes
- Cardiovascular system: thrombophlebitis, thromboembolia
- Sense organs: decreased vision and hearing
- Allergic reactions: skin rash, edema of the eye lids, conjunctivitis, intolerance of contact lenses
- Other: bleedings, chlaosma

- Barbiturates and antiepileptic medicines that may enhance Lyndinette metabolism
- Antibiotics(ampicillin, rifampicin, griseofulvin) may lower Lyndinette blood levels
- Anti diaebetes medicines may change Lyndinette blood levels
